In the multiplicity of small-scale local egalitarian or quasi-egalitarian organizations for fellowship, worship, and production that flourished in this laissez-faire environment, individuals could interact with one another within a community of harmony and ideological equality, following their own popularly elected leaders and governing themselves by shared consensus while minimizing distinctions of wealth and power.	多種多樣奉行平等主義或類似平等主義而為當地的聯誼、禮拜、生產等所設的小型社團，在這放任自由的環境裡蓬勃發展；其中的個人可在和諧而思想平等的團體內交往互動，既跟從自己公推的首領，也依眾人的共識而自我管理，同時把彼此間財富及能力的差別降至最低。 （Tr.
