A Feather Measures Time and Space

A Feather Measures Time and Space

The single feather
shelters a twittering flock of sparrows.
The single feather measures Time and Space.

It seems more like a gift from Heaven.
In an unmindful moment
you came across it.

That feather, turning larger and larger,
can look afar into where the sparrows gather.
The single feather shelters a band of dream-chasers.

The West Lake in the Sixth Month

The West Lake in the Sixth Month

By Yang Wanli

Truly, the West Lake halfway into the sixth month
Makes a scene
unlike anytime else in all four seasons.
Skyline-reaching, the lotus leaves spread boundlessly green;
Sunlight-reflecting, their blossoms come out singularly pink.
