行善之道要有「四兩撥千斤」、「以小博大」之效。做慈善投放一元，回報十元，以最高回報為目標，貢獻社會。正如捐獻支持城大設立冠名講座教授席，是非常有建設性的，有「四兩撥千斤」的效果。
Charitable giving must be effective like the lever enabling a pound of force to move a ton of weight, or small inputs yielding big returns. One dollar given this way would generate ten, with the aim of making the highest profit to benefit the public. The same is also true of donating to help CityU’s establishment of named and chair professorships; that’s a very constructive project with a pound-moving-ton effect.
